A collection of custom stained glass windows inspired by the Prairie School architects including Frank Lloyd Wright ®,Louis Sullivan, Purcell & Elmslie, Marion Mahony , Greene & Green, Rennie Mackintosh & others. Joseph Pompei has drawn upon his 35 years experience as an stained glass artisan to create a series of custom limited edition stained glass windows which capture the essence of the prairie-mission-arts & crafts styles, while incorporating Pompei's unique stylistic thumbprint.   At Pompei & Company, all of our windows are hand made. We utilize the same stained glass technique and materials found in turn of the last century stained glass windows.  Using traditional lead caming, and incorporating a variety of premium domestic and imported glass colors and textures, each of our pieces is a unique artistic statement. Each commission is made in our new Western Avenue Artists Studios location (35 minutes from downtown Boston), signed by Joseph Pompei, and custom made to your specifications, taking into account your size, color and privacy needs.   Want more information ? All panels in the Prairie School Collection are designed to fit any window style, including casement, awning, clerestory or fixed windows.

We specialize in fabricating stained glass as interior inserts for Andersen, Pella and Marvin casement and awning windows, which are installed as an interior insert, without disturbing the factory installed insulated glass.  Our stained glass panels are  'piggy-backed' against the interior side of the factory glass as a third layer of glazing and held in place with wood molding which we supply.  Illustrated installation instructions are supplied with your order and tech support is available at no charge !
